Sports Night - Aaron Sorkin’s First Show

from That Was a Show? · host Radio Gizmo: Brynn, Aaron & Barry

Sports Night WAS a show. From 1998-2000, this was the first series created by legendary Hollywood screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. The show starred Peter Krause, Felicity Huffman, Josh Charles, Joshua Molina, Sabrina Lloyd and Robert Guillaume as the on and off air talent of a nightly live cable sports show. The show, while well received by critics (and continues to have a following to this day), failed to land with audiences and was cancelled after just two seasons. “Walk and talk” with us as we revisit this sitcom that straddled the lines of comedy, drama, sports, and horribly deployed laugh tracks.
