Sports the Great Uniter?

Are sports good for us?  One provocative question to kick off this legendary show.  For the first two episodes of this series, Biewen reports from greater St. Louis (including Ferguson) in the time between the murder of Michael Brown and the protests over the non-indictment of Darren Wilson, the police officer responsible for his death.  The St. Louis Cardinals were in the playoffs and there was a chance for sports to reunite the city in a difficult time.  But faces of color are rare in the Cardinals’ stadium and questions of race and racism are top of mind for fans across the city.  So what can baseball do at a time like this?
