Oktober startet die achtteilige Serie „30 Tage Lust“ in der ARD Mediathek (Sender: SWR), bei der Pia Hellenthal gemeinsam mit Headautor Bartosz Grudziecki für die Regie verantwortlich zeichnete (Produktionsfirma: Trimafilm). Neben „30 Tage Lust“ sammelte Hellenthal, die an der KHM Köln studierte, bereits bei „How to Tatort“ (BTF) und „WIR“ (Studio Zentral) Serienerfahrung. Ihr Langfilmdebüt war „Searching Eva“, das sehr erfolgreich auf über 80 internationalen Festivals lief. Gemeinsam mit Visar Morina gründete sie 2023 die Produktionsfirma Firma Vicky Bane.
