On Today’s episode, we shine the light on the importance of creating a support system to help you, as a spouse or partner of a first responder, navigate this lifestyle. In many episodes we have spoken about the importance of having friends outside of law enforcement or fire fighting, but we have also spoken to the fact that we need to build a community of support with other first responder families because they know what we are going through. They understand the stresses of the job, the juggling act of shift work, missed holidays and so many other factors first responders and their families face.
