A safe place and someone to help you are everything when you're the victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or child abuse. Executive Director of Safe Passage, Adrienne Woods, Esq., and Safe Passage Board Member Mac Boone are my guests for this episode of Conversations with Nicole. Safe Passage is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides 24-hour emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis line, advocacy, counseling, and other supportive services to these victims in York, Chester, Lancaster, and Union counties in South Carolina. Safe Passage provides all services for free to anyone who needs them. To ensure Safe Passage can continue to help victims, a fundraiser, It Takes A Community 2023, will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 6 pm to 8 pm at McBryde Hall on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.
