Ro: Într-o dimineață de primăvară, soarele pătrundea vesel prin ferestrele înalte ale laboratorului de chimie al liceului.
En: On a spring morning, the sun cheerily streamed through the tall windows of the high school chemistry lab.

Ro: Aerul era proaspăt, iar lumina dansa pe mesele pline de eprubete și sticluțe cu tot felul de substanțe.
En: The air was fresh, and the light danced on tables full of test tubes and bottles with all sorts of substances.

Ro: Mirosul de amoniac amestecat cu praf de cretă plutea ușor în spațiu.
