Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the trials of Israel. The Philistines are about to wage war against Israel. The Philistines have defeated Israel and captured the Ark of God. Eli's children have been killed and the Ark taken and Eli dies. Samuel is now in the position of High Priest. The enemy returns the Ark because it causes them nothing but trouble. Finally, the nation of Israel covets a king like the other nations. Samuel pleads with them about it's dangers but the people ignore him.
