(SPS) E104.4 Jesus Is Betrayed & Arrested

What would you do if your best friend was kidnapped and taken away from you? Would you go after him or would you run? This is a tough question to answer but it is something to ponder. In our story, Judas for 30 pieces of silver has betrayed Jesus and now he leads them to the master. Jesus struggles to deal with His future fate but submits to the Father’s will despite His own desire. Upon His arrest, Peter cuts off the ear of one of the guards and Jesus restores it. The disciples all scatter and Jesus is left alone to face His accusers. All one can do is think about the Sacred Head Now Wounded by the authorities that He came to save. Today, man still hates Jesus Christ and seeks to destroy Him but God is eternal and can’t be destroyed. Will Jesus break free and run away or will He stay and accomplish His divine mission?
