Is there dishonor in this or is there glory in knowing that you completed the journey? The bible tells us to run the race with patience. In our story, the disciples use a story to describe the race and the events leading to a race. They explain that we should lay aside all of the weights that weigh us down. Ensuring that you are focused on the prize at the end, which is eternal, rather than temporal will help you remain focused. Will the disciples remain focused or will their focus become fuzzy?
