David’s son, Absalom, takes the throne by force and tries to destroy his father David. However, God loves David and David does all that he can to please God. Absalom, however, finally comes face to face with those to whom he has hurt. He succumbs to his enemy’s sword and his evil ploys end as quickly as they began.
