It has been said that God is the only person to let you see your destruction without allowing you to be overwhelmed by that same destruction. Elisha and those around him are surrounded by the Syrian host on every side without a fighting chance but the man of God sees things that others cannot. He trusts in the Mighty Spirit of God to protect him and those around him. Elisha prays that the eyes of those around him are opened and they begin to see the power of The Mighty Spirit.
