Have you known someone that was so proud that the very sights of someone not like himself or herself brings extreme frustration? Haman, the King’s Prime Minister, has such hate for Mordecai that he cannot rest and looses sleep about what to do with him. Haman actually plans to have Mordecai hung on the gallows that he constructs but God has other plans. We also see the first mention of the birth of Jesus Christ by wise men. Why is this important? Because the bible is accurate and they’ll come a day that all prophesy will come to pass. We receive this assurance from the bible’s pages that gives us faith and hope. Without hope, we would be miserable and adrift in life but hope gives us a path to follow and Jesus is this hope.
