His virgin birth was one of mystery to only be overshadowed by his sinless life. What makes His birth so unique is that it was foretold in scripture and that He had no earthly father. That’s like your parent getting married and given a book with the details of your birth, your personality, your character as well as the details of your death. Oh yeah, your dad not being the Father. Why did he come? Well, one of His names is Emmanuel which is interpreted “Good With Us”. Humanity needed a God as man and God sent a man as God. Mary knew that this was God’s Will for her life and she knew that God in flesh was coming to redeem humanity but is this really Him. What will He be like and what will his birth be like?
