Some people want to know that they are excelling in life but their competitive edge often makes them miss the point entirely. In our story, the disciples are having a conversation that almost leads to an argument about who is the greatest. They were so focused on themselves that they missed the real reason why Jesus was come and His true purpose. Instead of seeing Jesus as their example they looked at each other. Do you know we still do this today? We want to be better than our neighbor or family. This world will never see Jesus clearly unless we ask Him to change us first before we can ever help them. To change the world, I have to start with me. Will the disciples find out who is the greatest? How will Jesus handle this potential nightmare?
