It's the mainstay of my life. The rythym of my music.Daisaku Ikeda of Soka Gakkai International is my main influence. The idea of the human revolution as a way to change the world. Each of us have the power!!!Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. I take my cues from my environment. Paint a musical picture of what i see or hear or feel. When beat reflects the melody, reflects the harmony, reflects the lyrics, reflecting whatever instrument introduced, thats a perfect song for me. Ego has to be forgotten in the quest for a moving piece of work. To be able to portray emotion through rythym and melody is every musicians goal. Oh I hope I don't sound too wanky, its how I see music o;) Kate Bush, Bjork, Peter Gabriel, Otis Redding, Candy Staton,Peaches,Iggy Pop,The Rolling Stones,Outcast, Gorillaz,Jill Scott,Di Angelo,Faithless,Prince,The Roots,Roni Size,De La Soul, Blondie.......wow it's hard to slim it down! If it's got funk, if the art is unavoidable or if it's kickin ass and dirty with it,I'll love it.
