Spy: "Sleeping with the enemy"
from Minority Retort Podcast Hosted by Farah Z. Ahmed
Another bonus episode of Minority Retort where we review a recent release: "Spy" starring Melissa McCarthy. We start the episode answering our first listener letter! Then we move on to answering some pretty deep questions: Is Susan Cooper taking down the patriarchy? Is this movie successfully challenging the spy movie genre? And is that gropey Italian guy funny or nah. Who are we? Minority Retort is a weekly film podcast by two people of colour. Each episode, co-hosts Farah and Tope alternate picking from their favourite movies to debate the question: What makes a good film?
