SRTA adds electric taxis to its fleet

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has adopted clean transportation technology, as it provided electric buses and taxis available to all members of society, characterised by not emitting harmful emissions, offering a comfortable and safe transportation experience, in a step that enhances the authority's efforts in the field of environmental sustainability. The SRTA has added a number of electric taxis to its fleet, in order to provide clean transportation services to the public. The services include electric buses and taxis available in the Emirate, which all members of society can benefit from. These vehicles are environmentally friendly and do not cause pollution. They include 10 fully electric cars, in addition to two electric buses, each of which can accommodate 27 passengers. These vehicles operate around the clock to meet the needs of passengers.
