Instead of following the path of conventional higher education in business, he bought the textbooks and applied the concepts directly to his business. He became a graphic designer in 1990 and worked as a graphic artist for a major advertising agency for 15 years. Over the last three years, he has been living and working in Ecuador, doing some export business and primarily writing on economics and liberty.
