[§113] Rev 9:5-6: Locusts Torment People for Five Months

This podcast explains the meaning of the symbols and images used by John in Revelation 9:5-6 to explain what happens during the future First Woe when the bottomless pit opens and symbolic locusts emerge with power on earth like scorpions that have power to torment mankind for a period of five months. The locusts represent evil spirits that will be loosed from the bottomless pit at a time of great spiritual darkness. The torments of the First Woe will prepare the world for the sixth trumpet plague called the Second Woe and Armageddon.
