[§270] The Spirit of Judas Iscariot Is the False Prophet

from Unveiling Jesus Christ

This podcast describes the identity of the False Prophet mentioned by John in Revelation 16:13. Judas Iscariot is the False Prophet. His disembodied spirit is the spiritual head of all disembodied spirit sons of perdition in the last days, just as the disembodied spirit of Cain is the spiritual head of all disembodied spirit sons of perdition before the restoration of the gospel in 1830. Similarly, Satan (the Dragon) is the spiritual head of all unembodied spirit sons of perdition. For Judas to be the spiritual head of disembodied spirit sons of perdition, he must also be a son of perdition. This podcast provides many illustrations, examples, and scriptural evidences that Judas did become a son of perdition at the time he betrayed the Savior. This podcast also compares the characteristics and evil dispositions of Cain, who was perdition, and Judas‒whom Jesus specifically identified as a son of perdition. Finally, this podcast addresses the concerns of some scholars and theologians who do not believe Judas became a son of perdition because he did not have the Gift of the Holy Ghost at the time of his betrayal. The scriptures indicate that Judas had his sure witness of the divinity of Jesus Christ from the Father, which means he could and did commit the unpardonable sin when he betrayed the Savior, shed Christ's innocent blood, and put him to an open shame. Jesus knew from the beginning that Judas was a devil, and a son of perdition. Concerning his betrayal, Jesus said that it would have been better for Judas if he had never been born. This clearly puts Judas in the same class as all other unembodied spirit sons of perdition who can never be born.
