[§314] Rev 19:11-21: Christ’s Second Coming at the End of Armageddon

This podcast explains the symbolism and imagery used by John to describe the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in Revelation 19:11-21. This podcast first provides an overview of all these verses and then gives a specific explanation about the names and attributes of Jesus Christ found in Revelation 19:11-13, which states: “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” In these verses, Christ is identified by four names, using the world number four. He is also described by the sacred and universal number of seven different attributes, as follows: The adjectives Faithful and True describe the first two names of Christ as well as his first two attributes. The description of his flaming eyes and his many crowns are his third and fourth attributes. Christ’s third name and fifth attribute is a name written that no man knoweth. His sixth attribute is a vesture dipped in blood. Finally, his fourth name and seventh attribute is the word of God.
