[§91] The Feast of Tabernacles Foreshadows the Sixth Seal Paradise

This podcast explains the historical roots of John's second vision of paradise in heaven in the Feast of Tabernacles. This feast was one of three great feasts that Israelite men were required to attend at Jerusalem throughout the Mosaic Era. It is also known by its Hebrew Name Sukkot, which means booths or tabernacles. The Feast of Tabernacles was a harvest festival that occurred in the seventh month of the Jewish calendar, and which corresponds to the months of September and October. This was the time of temporal ingathering, and also a time of spiritual ingathering because the feast came five days after the annual Day of Atonement when there was a reconciliation to Jehovah and a renewal of covenants.
