How much do you reminisce before you just move on? Early-ish morning run around Gwanganli Beach, nothing really opens until 9 or 10 am so it was very quiet. But Busan seems to be much quieter overall than Beijing, but that may be an unfair assessment, Busan is just much smaller. HUGE coffee culture here, as that seems to have exploded in the last few years. Randy’s Donuts? Tried that for breakfast oops HUGE donut! Then baozi and we disappointed the lady cause I ordered three of whatever, turns out that was three boxes! Fixed that mistake with the translation device and she was not very happy. Ooops. Takeaway: if you get a to-go cup, you must go! And then… the old neighborhood! We did A LOT of walking around the old neighbourhood! I wanted it. Sat and talked with Warren, told me all about life here especially during the pandemic. Old apartment is still there, old school is still there, old neighborhood still there! Lots of people saying no pictures! Padded seats on the subway! Subways and escalators seem to move a little slower here. Nampo dong PIFF square for the evening, stopped off at Bronx Cafe where the owners were literally grinding and sealing the coffee packets, you know the drip filter for a cup?
