Their musical evolution spans many years and takes influence from multiple genres, allowing them to tailor their sets to each event resulting in a unique musical experience and satisfied crowds from start to finish. Varj Arman brings a background of music theory and experience from being classically trained in violin, later picking up guitar. David Beynon has been involved in Toronto’s electronic music scene for many years, supporting and witnessing many locals achieve success. Together they are a cohesive team who have achieved swift recognition and consistently deliver quality sets to their listeners. Arman & Beynon have played with international acts such as Apollonia, Dubfire, Mark Oliver, Victor Calderone, Steve Lawler, and Kenny Glasgow, to name a few. They have cemented themselves as a staple of the Toronto underground scene, playing venues across the city including Parlour, Nest, Escobar, and for various promoters including Secret Society, Mahdavi, Summerdaze, and White Label Promo. ▲▲▲ Secret Society Sessions is a show broadcasted live every Wednesday 6-10pm. Our goal is to provide the atmosphere for a regular gathering that revolves around our love for music and the celebration of getting over the hump of the week. Come early, spend a few hours with your friends listening to artistically curated sounds and go home happy, proving that a night out does not have to be followed by a day in.
