St. Ardent by Night | S1E7: The Quiet Network

In this episode of St. Ardent by Night, the coterie descends into the Tremere Library beneath St. Ephriam’s College just as a citywide alert signals that the systems protecting St. Ardent are failing. Panic spreads when Stephen, an elderly Tremere, reveals he is the last Kindred maintaining the wards that shield the city. As Ernest and Enili investigate the sealed office of former Primogen Michael Alric, they uncover lethal wards designed to kill anyone who breaches them. Tensions erupt when Mistress Lux flees in terror after Stephen turns Dread Gaze upon her, and desperation drives the Tremere Primogen to sanction an unthinkable act. With a holy blade in hand, the coterie forces entry into Alric’s office at a devastating cost. What they uncover inside reframes the past, exposes betrayal at the highest levels, and reveals a conspiracy involving hunters, mages, and a corrupted spirit of the land. As evidence is delivered to the Camarilla leadership, new crises emerge, alliances strain, and the city itself begins to tremble as the wards finally start to fail.   What to Expect: gothic horror, political horror, character-focused roleplay, moral dilemmas, escalating consequences, and long-form narrative storytelling.
