St. Augustine Beach Bans Smoking and Vaping | Jacksonville News

St. Augustine Beach is rolling out a bold new ban on smoking and vaping in all public spaces — beaches, parks, and the upcoming Ocean Pier — following county and neighboring city lead, with the goal of cleaner air, better health, and preserved natural beauty. The only exception? Unfiltered cigars, thanks to a 2022 state law. This sweeping policy kicks in as the pier reopens later this year, signaling a major shift toward smoke-free public zones.
