St. Augustine's "Confession:" Book Eleven, Chapter Twenty-Three

Welcome, Catholic Pilgrims. Today's reading may seem a bit muddled and confusing. To help us out a bit, remember this is the question that St. Augustine is trying to answer, "If the past no longer exists, and the future doesn't yet exist, and the present is constantly disappearing, what exactly is time?"  How do we experience a day? A hour? What does that even mean? Those are some of the philosophical issues we are hearing about today.  We are reading from Book Eleven, Chapter Twenty-Three on page 271.
