St Louis Blues Fall to Bruins, 5-2 | Blues Central Postgame

The Blues Central postgame crew reacted to St. Louis’ 5–2 loss to the Boston Bruins, describing the team as “consistently inconsistent” after another game that started strong but collapsed in the second period. Ethan Hannaford and Mike Meyer highlighted how the Blues dominated early with physical play and a 1–0 lead, only to be outshot 13–3 in a disastrous middle frame that flipped the momentum. Injuries continued to pile up with Nick Bjugstad exiting the game, and the guys questioned whether St. Louis can stay afloat in a wide-open Western Conference without getting out of its own way. They praised Pavel Buchnevich’s recent surge and argued that Joel Hofer deserves more starts despite the loss, while stressing that the Blues must improve late-game execution and urgency if they hope to stay alive in the standings.
