St. Louis Officer Shooting Investigation | St. Louis News

Two St. Louis County police officers shot a man Tuesday morning near Weidman and Manchester roads after he allegedly pointed a firearm at them — marking the seventh officer-involved shooting in the region this year. The incident followed a 911 call about erratic behavior, and the man, now in stable condition, was struck during the confrontation. Both officers are seasoned professionals, with one having eight years of experience and the other two. An official investigation will take approximately 60 days to complete, as required by department policy. With over a dozen such incidents already logged in 2026, tensions remain high as communities grapple with recurring violence and accountability.
