St. Louis Tornado Recovery Gains Momentum | St. Louis News

St. Louis’ tornado recovery is gaining real momentum as STL Recovers finishes 34 homes, with 200 more approved and 11 under construction—aiming for 1,000 total by October, funded by the Rams settlement. For uninsured residents like Cora Steed, the city’s stepping in with up to $50K per home for essential repairs—not full renovations. While delays frustrate those still waiting, officials admit the program took longer than expected but are learning fast, improving transparency with an upcoming website to track waitlists and progress. The city remains committed to rebuilding lives, one safe, livable home at a time. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
