What this episode covers
Mara Allen founded the Budtender Awards in 2016 with one specific purpose - to celebrate budtenders and the work that they do. As the public face of cannabis, budtenders have super impoprtant jobs, but Mara didn’t feel like they were getting the support, training, or respect they deserve. Enter G4 LIVE presented by the Budtender Awards, Mara’s vision for bringing together the best of the industry to network and party. Mara openly shares about her life up to the point of becoming the Patron Saint of Budtenders, and the twisty trail to a life devoted to uplifting and empowering the Cannabis Community. She also gives us a look into what this year’s G4 LIVE in fabulous Las Vegas has to bring, and why she’s making history yet AGAIN this year! (hint: it has to do with one of the folks in her dream smoke circle and a future Kardashian :) G4 LIVE presented by the Budtender Awards is happening in Las Vegas from May 12-14 and if you want to join the fun, use GROWHOUSE20 for 20% off! The feminized Podcast will be there interviewing the baddest mamas of Las Vegas Cannabis so if you know someone I should be interviewing, hit me up! [email protected]
