ST:TNGeez 3.10 The Defector

So the Enterprise is just tooling along when a sudden visitor from the Romulan Neutral Zone arrives. It’s a Romulan scout ship with a Warbird in hot pursuit! The scout’s passenger seeks asylum aboard the Enterprise. As Picard orders the scout ship enclosed in the Enterprise’s shields, the Warbird shrugs and heads back into Romulan space. The passenger ends up being something as rare as a Ferengi with straight teeth: a Romulan defector! He claims to have vital information about a secret Romulan base that threatens the tenuous peace between the Romulan Empire and the Federation. Picard and company have to determine if the defector is telling the truth or if he’s a spy leading the Enterprise into a trap. Will Data ever figure out what a metaphor is?
