Today’s lesson: killing is bad. In case that’s not clear to you, Dr. Beverly Crusher and her best friend Captain Johnny will explain it to you in painful, painful detail when they get embroiled in yet another society divided by bloodshed. After all the fun we had with the Acamarians and the Gatherers, with the Angosians and their exiled veterans, we get the Rutians and the Ansata. It seems the Ansata want their independence, and the Rutians are like all, not happening, brochacho. This leads to the IRA . . . Uhhh, that is, the Ansata waging a war of terrorism and chaos. When the Ansata kidnap Dr. Bev, things get tense and JLP gets cranky. The worried Wes works on cracking the case of the Ansata’s ability to transport without a transporter while Riker works with the local authorities to try and rescue Bev. Then get ready for things to get knocked into 12th gear when a raid on the orbiting Enterprise nets the Ansata the ultimate prize prisoner--Captain Jean-Luc Picard! Shit just got real, my friends!
