St. Vincents de Paul Georgia- "A Place To Call Home"

Today’s show features not one, but two guests! With me is Cathy Lepkowski & Mike Sleeth. Both of them are members of Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church here in Greensboro and both are part of the St. Vincent de Paul Georgia Conference. This wonderful organization works diligently to bring help and hope to neighbors in need. Some of the important areas they work in include increasing healthcare access, decreasing food insecurity, increasing food access and increasing housing stability. We will talk specifically about a grant opportunity they are currently working on with the Department of Housing & Urban Development to alleviate some of the rental housing challenges in Greene, Putnam & Hancock Counties. We’ll talk about why this is such a huge problem in the area and how the approach of St. Vincent is unique, sustainable and scalable throughout Georgia.
