In the new music marketplace the “music”, still INCREDIBLY important, now feeds the many “experiences” the artist CREATES, STAGES and SELLS.  There are dozens of “experiences” artists are now responsible for. To give you an idea, think of how many products [ aka: experiences ] Disney created around the movie Frozen. Dozens maybe? Hundreds? The Disney model is now the standard for career, thoroughbred, profitable artists. Today we are going to dive into one of my favorite topics; building remarkable experiences. Experiences are what drives your growth, whether it’s in concert, in ecom, on a live stream or in recorded music staging a great experience is a non-negotiable for artists who are building a world-class career.  A couple questions we want to answer in this video:  - How have concerts changed?  - What do fans and customers expect in the new music world?  - Are you providing your fans with a world-class remarkable experience?  - What makes a great experience?  - Are you ignoring your experiences?  - Who are the artists and brands who successfully and consistently create world-class experiences?  If you are not thinking about the experiences around your career, it will be like putting a bottleneck on your success. Experiences are what drives your growth, whether it’s in concert, in ecom, on a live stream or in recorded music staging a great experience is a non-negotiable for artists who are building a world-class career. In this first video in the “How to Build a Platform Under Your Music” series we look at how to stage experiences instead of just the traditional concerts. While in the past, the consumer has often been content to be simply be a spectator, today’s consumer expects to be an active participant that can actually play a role IN EVEN SHAPE the outcome of an event.
