Non esistono ad oggi terapie di fase acuta in grado di modificarne sostanzialmente la prognosi, come invece accade nell’ictus ischemico. Eppure, riconoscere un ictus emorragico e le sue cause è il primo passo per cercare di migliorare l’outcome del paziente con le giuste strategie terapeutiche. Inoltre, una migliore conoscenza della patologia ci aiuta a pensare e progettare i trials del futuro. In questo NEUROPOD parleremo di gestione in acuto del paziente con emorragia cerebrale, dall'arrivo in pronto soccorso alla diagnosi, soffermandoci sull'inquadramento diagnostico/eziologico e terminando con un piccolo focus sui pazienti che necessitano di terapia antiaggregante-anticoagulante e sulla loro gestione a lungo termine.
