Stalk: A Werewolf Date Turns Deadly in the Canadian Wilderness

Joshua Fox comes home from Toronto for reading week expecting friends, hockey and perhaps a little romance. Meeting Tracey Kidd near Sauble Beach gives him a much more dangerous kind of excitement. Mike Ashkewe’s “Stalk” turns an Ontario homecoming into a werewolf story where attraction and predatory instinct are difficult to separate. Set around Owen Sound and the Lake Huron shoreline, this darkly funny creature tale follows a lonely student whose wish for an unforgettable encounter is about to be answered with teeth.
