In today episode, I have the podcast host of Candle In A Dark Room, Desi Garcia on my show who shares the story of her life, how she survived trauma & how she lives in recovery today. Desi was continuously abused by her stepfather between the ages of 8 to 15, she pressed charges and her perpetrator was convicted though it never kept him away from her when he was released from prison.
