Stalked By A 12 Foot Tall Entity

His first encounter occurred in childhood and involves a standoff with an unusual cryptid that is unlike anything I've heard of before. A few years later, Jim and his friends are terrorized by a 12 foot tall entity that seemingly focussed in on Jim, and when he attempted to flee from the being, it gave chase. Next, Jim awoke one night to find himself floating above his bed, completely paralyzed, and whats worse--he wasn't alone in the room. I can honestly say that this episode took me by surprise.
