#BenEKing What is happening in Mozambique? Or better, what is not happening in Mozambique? We don’t see significant signs of international aid or pressure to fight the growth of the Islamic State group in the Northern Mozambique. Either from the United Nations or from Portuguese Communities. Why is this relevant? Because the Community of Portuguese Language Countries, founded in 1996, is a multilateral organization and political association, which focuses on the cooperation of countries which official language is the Portuguese. Therefore, obvio that Portugal and Brazil are part of it but also other countries such as Angola, Cabo Verde and Mozambique. The most recent news was the vicious attack by the jihadist militants at the town of Palma.
