Today  in Part 1, you will learn: *Heather followed in her father's footsteps to become a school psychologist.*Heather's father advocated for her sister, Erin, who has autism and ignited the fire of Heather's advocacy.  *Heather is an autism specialist and advocates for those with special needs.  *Heather gained the courage to advocate for her daughter, Devyn who also has autism. *When Devyn's school district discriminated against Devyn and denied her accommodations to have her service dog accompany her to school, Heather found her voice. *Heather valiantly fought all the way up to the US Dept of Justice and won her case, creating legal precedence for others with special needs!
