Stand-up Comedy
from The Fanboy and the Hater Hosted by fanboyandhater
Mike and Jim discuss Stand-up Comedy, including how it differs from sketch comedy and sitcoms, which is mostly what Jim has seen without knowing many of those performers are also stand-up comedians. They also discuss how stand-up is the rawest, most honest form of comedy, which is why it can be seen as offensive or controversial at times, but without stand-up comedy a lot of important conversations about difficult to discuss topics would never happen. (This episode of the Fanboy and the Hater includes even more profanity than usual, and occasionally includes language and topics some may find offensive. Therefore, listener discretion is f**king advised.) Check out our most popular podcast episodes: https://fanboyandhater.podbean.com/category/popular-episodes
