STANDING IN AWE OF GOD Psalms 8:3-4 3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? During our recent trip to the Rocky Mountains, there were moments when I simply had to stop and take it all in. Standing on mountain tops and looking as they towered in front of me, seeing valleys stretching into the distance, hearing the water rushing over the rocks, I became very aware of just how small I really am. And strangely enough, there was something comforting about that.
