"Standing on the right side of the door"

When the Hewbrew slaves were in Egypt and the Pharoah Ramses refused to free them, God sent Moses to free them. There were 10 plagues that God sent. The 10th plague, which is the death visitation on all first born. But God instructed Moses to perform a ritual where there would be a lamb or goat sacrificed and blood painted on the posts and lentils of every Hebrew door in Goshen, so that death would pass them by.
