Standing on the Truth

The Word of God says “Stand, therefore having clothed yourselves with the truth,” Ephesians 6:14.Welcome you to our study today of standing on the truth. What does it mean to be really firmly rooted and planted and to stand one's life upon the Word of God? Those are the questions that we're going to answer from the Word of God today.Today we're thinking about one of the more challenging, and I think uplifting, lessons in the Scripture: standing ourselves firmly rooted and planted on the truth.As we think about this idea, let's first make sure that we understand what we mean by the truth. When we talk about truth, we're not talking about popular opinion. We're not talking about what some person thinks is truth or some group thinks is truth. When we talk about standing firmly on the truth, we're talking about God's truth.
