The lid threads on these mugs shrink when exposed to heat and twisting causing the lid to suddenly detach leading to burn injuries from hot liquids. About 2.6 million units were sold in the US at Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target, and other retailers nationwide as well as online at amazon.com and other websites between June 2016 and December 2024.
