This one might start slow, but trust us, it’s worth it. Star Trek (2009) is a rare blend of sleeper hit and absolute banger that, in our opinion, didn’t get the recognition it deserved. In a world where big franchises get churned out constantly, this movie kicks off a trilogy with a fresh flavor that stands apart from typical blockbusters—yet still offers the familiar thrills that make for a great time. We definitely recommend watching it first, but just like the movie, this episode is easygoing, fun, and packed with some unexpectedly deep moments below the surface.
