If you watch Star Trek: The Next Generation, you know just how realistic and seductive this virtual reality sort of technology can be. Want to go to a city or country - or even another world - you have never been, why just fire up the good ole hologrid. Yearning to trade advanced theoretical concepts with the great super genius Albert Einstein? He’s there waiting for you in the holographic playroom for as long as you can stand his intellectual assault overload. Although virtual reality really can’t capture the impact and authenticity which a Starfleet holographic playroom can deliver, it’s all we have today which comes close. C’mon.
