In Angel one the crew of the enterprise are led to an interesting world where the native culture developed as a Matriarchy and is ruled by powerful women. Men take on the traditional role that women on earth projected in humanity's past. The Crew were led here because of they believe (rightly so) that a human ship that was lost ended up there.
