Star Wars: Comics In Canon - Ep 3: How C-3PO Got His Red Arm & Life Before Skywalker

from Comics In Motion · host Comics In Motion Network

This week Mike delves into how C-3PO (Threepio) got his (un)recognisable red arm seen in The Force Awakens, plus some extra trivia including the misconception that Anakin was C-3PO’s sole creator & first master and Threepio’s movie & comic appearances! C-3PO: Phantom Limb is written by James Robinson with Tony Harris as the artist & colourist. Issue #1 released April 2016 & and was also included within the Shattered Empire Hardcover released September 2016. Last week Mike spoke about Darth Maul beyond The Phantom Menace and the week before that The Rise Of Kylo Ren comic mini-series was talked about - next week Mike will delve into the Shattered Empire comic (set directly after the Battle Of Endor at the end of Return Of The Jedi). If you have any questions, pointers or just fancy a chat, send Mike an email at [email protected] Mike is also the host of a podcast called Genuine Chit-Chat where he speaks with a different guest each week about a wide array of topics where no subject is off limits – GCC can be listened to in the same place you’re listening to this show, so there’s no excuse to not check it out! Chris & Dave of Comics In Motion were on episodes 63 & 75 of GCC and Mike was on episodes 75 & 100 of Comics In Motion!
